South Jakarta Education Sub-Department Regional I cooperating with Jakarta Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) did a sudden inspection over food in school canteen.
The food sold must be healthy and safe to be consumed by students
"Healthy school canteen is very important. It should provide safe and nutritious food for students as they are nation's next generation," said Head of South Jakarta Education Sub-Department Regional I, Fery Safarudin when he observed SMPN 12's Canteen, Wednesday (10/21).
Food Containing Borax Found in School Canteen
Fery added his party along with BPOM will conduct sample testing against food in school canteens in South Jakarta ranging from Elementary School (SD), Junior (SMP) until Senior High School (SMA).
"The food sold must be healthy and safe to be consumed by students," he asserted.
